How to Set Up Windows 2000 Pay As You Go Internet Connection

  1. Double click on My Computer and then double click on the Control Panel
  2. Double click on Network and Dial Up Connections
  3. Double click on Make New Connection
  4. Click on Next and select Dial-up to the Internet.
  5. Click on Next to continue
  6. Select I want to set up my Internet connection manually and click on next to continue
  7. Select I connect through a phone line and a modem, then click on Next
  8. Enter the phone number 08451232063 and remove the tick from Use area code and dialing rules
  9. Click on the Advanced button
  10. Select PPP as the connection type and for the Logon procedure select None
  11. Click on the Addresses tab and bullet point, "Internet service provider automatically provides one" in the IP address section, and, "My ISP autoatically provides a domain name server (DNS) address" in the DNS server address section.
  12. Click on OK
  13. Click on Next to continue
  14. Enter your username and password in lowercase and click on Next to continue

  15. Give the dial up connection you just created a name for example "NetNeo As You Go".
  16. Click on next to finish
